1) The Foundation of Repentance!

Today many who claim to follow the Lord have forgotten to repent!
2) Of Faith Toward God

When we do it on our own - it that faith. Faith is tested over and over. Look at Job!
(Job 1:8 NASB) And the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil."
Job's faith was repeatedly tested, yet look what God (who cannot lie) said of Job! We need God to test our faith. Perhaps people are too comfortable!
3) The Teaching of Baptisms or "Washings!"

Old believers talk about foot baptisms (feet washing), baptism by immersion, and baptism with the Holy Spirit!
Yeshua told the disciples...
(John 13:14-15 NASB) "If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. {15} "For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you.
Yeshua told the disciples...
(Mat 28:19-20 NASB) "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, {20} teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
John said of Yeshua...
(Mark 1:8 NIV) I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."
4) Of Laying On Of Hands

Have we forgotten God's ways in the personal body of our Lord, exchanged sanitary pews, fancy clothing and "proper etiquette" for what God says is "the initial lessons about the Messiah!"
5) Of Resurrection Of The Dead

Today many who say they believe, believe that once you are dead, that the end! We need to prepare to come back! We all will!

Remember that mercy only comes AFTER righteousness. God is Just!
7) Teach it to others again and again!

And God permitting, we will do so. (NIV)
Here is a test... Ask someone how many of these Seven things a believer really understands! Seven thing the Bible calls "the elementary teachings" and "the initial lessons" as believers and disciples!
It is time to grow up and "let us press on to maturity" in the Lord!
